Bio/Resume

I have a decade's experience in communications and leadership within nonprofits in the United States and Australia. My writing on gender, healthcare, and public policy has been widely published since 2009.

In 2017, I left my job as Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin to consult and write full time. In June of 2017, I founded Project Sheila, a social enterprise that creates free and low-cost websites for progressive female candidates.

I am a proud graduate of Macquarie University and the Wisconsin Women's Network Policy Institute.
